Mt. St. Helens, Washington

I've wanted to visit this volcano for a long time.  The dimension of the effects of the explosion cannot be captured by photography - the area devastated is too large.  Mt. St. Helens is still restless.   The haze in the cone was attributed to dust from falling rocks and vapors emitted by the rising dome in the center of the cone.
